UEI College’s Dental Assistant Program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and training they need for a rewarding career as entry-level dental assistants. A career as a dental assistant involves helping dentists, dental hygienists, and other professionals care for patients. The duty of dental assistants is to ensure that patients have a smooth and positive experience while at a dentist’s office.

The Dental Assistant Training Course at UEI provides students with the knowledge and training they need to perform the essential job duties required for a career as a dental assistant. UEI’s course is hybrid, meaning students learn via a mix of online classes, onsite classes and labs, and an externship at a local clinic. The 170-hour externship provides students with on-the-job training, preparing them for situations they will encounter upon graduation in the real world.
